Sheffield Central Library

The ‘Picture Sheffield’ system, supplied by House of Images, went live in October 2000 comprising a scanning cell, a staff terminal for processing print orders and two public access terminals. Plans are already in hand to extend the system through the installation of additional terminals and a recently approved NOF bid will allow for the further extension of the system to branch libraries throughout Sheffield.
